Eco Design & Maintenance is a small, family-run landscaping and renovation company serving the Eastside and greater Seattle area. Our work focuses on practical, beautiful outdoor spaces that work with the Pacific Northwest’s natural systems rather than against them.

We specialize in native plant gardens, permeable hardscapes, depaving, and low-maintenance landscapes designed to support pollinators, wildlife, and healthy soil. Many of our projects involve transforming underused lawns or drainage problem areas into functional spaces that absorb rainwater, reduce runoff, and thrive in the local climate.

Because we are a small team, every project is hands-on and collaborative. We work closely with clients to understand how they actually use their outdoor spaces, whether that means creating habitat, building a peaceful garden retreat, or simply designing something that will look good without constant upkeep.

Our goal is to create landscapes that feel natural to the Pacific Northwest: layered plant communities, durable materials, and thoughtful design that improves with time rather than requiring constant replacement.

At the end of the day, we believe a good landscape should do more than look nice, it should support the environment, function well in our rainy climate, and make the people who live there feel more connected to their space.
